Sales Engine’s Recommended Reading List

By September 14, 2012 2 Comments

It’s true. We are a team of “readers”. We try to soak up as much knowledge as we can and have an endless list of books to digest. We think of education as a life-long experience. Over the years, there are some books that have remained at the top of our “favorite list”. They approach subjects ranging from management to entrepreneurship to productivity (and more). Our list is always fluctuating, of course, but here are our top picks so far!:

  1. Getting Things Done by David Allen
  2. A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink
  3. The First 90 Days by Michael Watkins
  4. Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness by Richard H. Thaler
  5. The  Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt
  6. The Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande
  7. Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman
  8. Resonate: Present Visual Stories That Transform Audiences by Nancy Duarte
  9. Moonwalking With Einstein by Joshua Foer
  10. Choke: The Secret to Performing Under Pressure by Sian Beilock

What are you reading right now?

Think back to the past year and which books influenced you the most.

(Now tell us what they are so we can add them to our list!)

Switch, by Chip and Dan Heath. $100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau. Reality Check by Guy Kawasaki. Word Of Mouth Marketing by Andy Sernovitz. All very good.
